Cocoa Bean Husk
Cocoa bean (cacao) husk and random, loitering, roasted organic or conventionally grown whole cocoa beans and/or nibs that didn’t get separated out in the winnowing process.
Cocoa Bean Husk is great as compost. Plants AND people love it as Mulch. It has lovely aromas when warmed by the sun. (However do not use if you have inquisitive dogs that might EAT it - or if any dogs would have access to it. If you suspect your pet has ingested chocolate, cocoa beans or related substance, call your Vet immediately or the Poison Control Hotline at 1(800) 213-6680).
Cocoa bean husks are also often used in scrubs and soaps. Many people use it in teas and in brewing beer, although The Cocoa Forge, Inc., does not recommend, advocate or guarantee the suitability for any purpose you plan to use them for.
